This sweet birthday card was one of the make-and-take projects we created at the recent Mini Catalogue Launch Party.  It uses wide strips of the gorgeous Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper in the background and the imagery is repeated in the coordinated stamping in the foreground.

I wanted a monochromatic look for this simple card design so I began by choosing three patterned papers in the same colour, which I cut and mounted onto a piece of Basic White cardstock.  I then matched the Petal Pink patterned papers with a Petal Pink card base and added a touch of colour to the centre of the stamped flowers with Petal Pink Stampin' Blends.  I finished this elegant birthday card with some clear and Petal Pink Polished Dots.  They are sooo pretty and look like dew drops on this card.
