Ever Eden Christmas Cards

I have been working on my Christmas cards for the last two weeks and am relieved that they are now all in the post.  The brief for this year was that they had to be simple and straightforward to mass-produce with a little wow-factor and all this without using Basic White cardstock (as it wasn't available when I ordered the products for this production).  Enter Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes, which I paired with the gorgeous Ever Eden Designer Series Paper, Christmas to Remember stamp set, and touches gold...

I decided to buck the system and use non-traditional patterned paper for my Christmas cards this year.  Instead, my cards were inspired by the lovely greens and gold foil accents in the Ever Eden Designer Series Paper.  This designer paper makes an appearance on the left and right sides of my card front.  I have die-cut a pretty gold foil flourish and finished the front with a gold trim bow to bring out the gold accents in the paper.

For a little wow-factor, I adapted the Basic White Note Cards to create a spanner card, like my Peachy and Jungle Birthday Cards, but instead of an acetate bridge across the front, I have used the die-cut words in Evening Evergreen cardstock as the anchor.

Behind the first layer of the card front, is Soft Succulent cardstock with a pretty die-cut edge and some Christmassy-red rhinestones.  And then it opens again...

I love how this Christmas card design came out and I think I met the brief on keeping it simple with a little wow-factor.

Here's a little peek behind the Christmas card production curtain... a snapshot of everything prepped, die-cut, stamped, and ready to assemble!

I couldn't have achieved creating so many Christmas cards in such a short time period without my very supportive family stamping and die-cutting along with me.  I am thankful for them and thankful that the cards are all finished, written in, and posted to (hopefully) arrive in time for Christmas.
