When I created the Christmas Postal Gift Box, I stamped and die-cut a lot of leaves, berries, and pinecones, unsure how I was going to create the arrangement. And then, when I finished the gift box, I had these leftover pieces...
Determined to not waste these die-cuts, I created a matching Christmas card for my gift box using products from the beautiful Painted Christmas Suite.

Painted Christmas Suite Collection (156274) - $296.75
I began with the idea of creating a Christmas arrangement coming out from behind a central panel with a stamped sentiment. So I started by preparing the card base by applying some Gilded Leafing to the edges. I then stamped and die-cut the words, added a strip of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper, wrapped around some Linen Thread, and then adhered the whole panel to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Now I could play around with the leftover die-cut leaves, berries, and pinecones, tucking them under the central panel and arranging them until I was happy with the result. Lastly, I added a couple of gold Gilded Gems to make it sparkle.
This stunning Christmas card was quite quick to create because I already had the die-cut pieces. Here's a tip... whenever you have die-cut leftovers, pop them in with the stamp set or dies so that next time you come to create with that set, they are ready to go!
