At the beginning of May, I will have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for 12-years. When I began this creative journey, my youngest was a little 3-year-old and now he has just turned 15 and is so much taller than me! Slimline cards are a tall, fun shape and seemed appropriate for my son's 15th birthday card. This masculine birthday card was created using the World of Good Suite...

The gold border that runs down the sides of this slimline card was created using Gilded Leafing. I laid down a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the edge of the cardstock and then applied the soft Gilded Leafing. The result is brilliant, textured, gold edging.
Some of the World of Good products you see on this masculine slimline card has not survived the culling that happens between annual catalogues. The Beautiful World stamp set and the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper are in the Last-Chance Product Sale and have now sold out. The good news is that the World Map Dies are still available, which is how I created that lovely globe on the card front. The other retiring product that I wouldn't be without is the Old World Paper Embossing Folder, which I have used to texture the front white panel. Don't miss out on any of your retiring favourites...
