I attended an online demonstrator-only event at the end of last year and was inspired by a number of fabulous demonstrations.  One was a deceptively simple shaker card, shared by Rosemarrie Gonzalez.  This is my birthday version of her card, using the fabulous Ice Cream Corner Suite...

You begin with a clear cellophane envelope and insert into it your favourite designer paper that is cut a little smaller than your card front.  Then add your shaker elements, seal the cellophane envelope, and fold over any excess.  Now it's ready to add to your card and decorate!

I have chosen one of the yummy patterns from the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper as my background and added the fun Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles.  Other fun shaker element ideas are sequins, punched or die-cut pieces, or confetti.

I finished the front of my birthday shaker card with a punched ice cream, pretty ribbon bow, and some fun stamping.  This fun stamping is also on the inside...

It has been so hot this week!  Ice creams and ice blocks are great for summer (and summer projects) and I am sure this ice cream-themed birthday shaker card will be well received.
