This sympathy card was my first play with the coordinating products in the Fine Art Floral Suite in cheery yellow and gold...

Don't you just love the background!  It is the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and it has so much character you can't help but touch it.  But, I thought it needed something more.  So for my second version, I added a gold splatter...

To achieve this, after I embossed the cardstock, I delicately shook a very wet Water Painter over the cardstock and quickly applied gold embossing powder, and heat set it.

I was rather pleased with how it came out and love how it accentuates the painted look of the project.  I am looking forward to playing some more with the Fine Art Floral Suite from the new mini catalogue.
