Welcome to Your Creative Connection; a bi-monthly creative showcase which comes to you on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday/Thursday of each month. Your Creative Connection came together from a group of eight global friends wanting to give you a worldwide connection to creativity. We hope to inspire you to connect with us as we share papercraft ideas using Stampin’ Up! products. Each showcase will have a theme, and we will ‘travel’ around the world to connect with our creative friends.
This week's Your Creative Connection theme is DIES TO DIE FOR. So for this theme, I chose the Little Treat Box Dies (and coordinating Little Treats stamp set) because I love, love, love simple-to-create boxes and I can't go past any dies that include a gift box - I think I have them all! As a play on the "to die for" part of this theme, I decided to create a Halloween-inspired treat...

Little Treats Stamp Set + Little Treat Box Dies Bundle (155204) - $111.50
The Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper was the colour inspiration for my Halloween gift. The treat box was die-cut from Blackberry Bliss cardstock and then a strip of designer paper wrapped around (the Blackberry Bliss patterned paper with creepy, life-like, bulbous spiders on it). I also used the scalloped tag die from the Little Treat Box Dies for the silver-embossed words for the front. I finished this ghoulish treat with a spider die-cut from Silver Foil and some web-like silver Metallic Mesh Ribbon.
The Little Treat Box Dies was a one-stop-shop for creating this fun and easy Halloween treat, and I love it!
