Welcome to Your Creative Connection; a bi-monthly creative showcase which comes to you on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday/Thursday of each month.  Your Creative Connection came together from a group of eight global friends wanting to give you a worldwide connection to creativity.  We hope to inspire you to connect with us as we share papercraft ideas using Stampin’ Up! products.  Each showcase will have a theme, and we will ‘travel’ around the world to connect with our creative friends.

This week's Your Creative Connection theme is HALLOWEEN/AUTUMN.  Here in New Zealand, we don't traditionally celebrate Halloween and it is currently spring-time, making this theme a bit of a stretch.  However, I did purchase the Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper from the mini catalogue because it is so much more than just Halloween.  On the reverse of the pages are hauntingly, beautiful florals and delicate fillagree designs.  Because I already had the Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper, I paired it with the Little Treats Bundle and Round Tins to create this ghoulish treat.

The decorative finish to this silver Round Tin was inspired by a Christmas version on page 73 of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue.  After filling the tin with orange hard-boiled lollies, I have wrapped it with a 3 cm or 1-1/4" strip of bat-patterned paper and Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, which I have custom-coloured with the Calypso Coral Dark Stampin' Blend.

One of my new favourite accessories is the 1-1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon.  I love how this delicate ribbon has a spider web look, so I finished this treat box with the die-cut spider nestled into it.
