Tomorrow we celebrate Father's Day here in New Zealand, and this is the lovely Father's Day card that I created using lots of texture, distressed elements, and the fabulous World of Good Suite...

Card/Paper: Early Espresso (121686), Misty Moonlight (153086), Mossy Meadow (133683), Brass Foil Sheets (153057), Whisper White (106549). Accessories: Antiqued Corners & Slides (152471), Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (109129). Tools: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Banners Pick A Punch (153608), 2-1/4" Circle Punch (143720), Heat Tool (129056), Stamping Sponges (141337), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (144108).
The imagery, textures, and colours present in the World of Good Suite are perfect for masculine cards and were the inspiration for my Father's Day card. The front has a triangular piece of the beautiful World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper, which has a lovely brass foil accents. Those accents were replicated on the bottom triangular panel. It is Early Espresso cardstock that is first embossed with the Old World Paper Embossing Folder to give a lovely scrunched-up look. I then lightly brushed over the raised edges with VersaMark stamp pad and added Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. I love the result!
With all those details, I wanted to keep the rest of the card simple. So I added antiqued brass corners, a die-cut globe, and complementary "World's Best Father" stamp from the Itty Bitty Greetings, one of my favourite go-to stamp sets for all sentiments...

My Father's Day card design is called a Double-Triangle Card and it has a fun, and unexpected opening...
To create a Double-Triangle Card, begin with an A4 sheet of cardstock. Score the cardstock in half horizontally and vertically, and then cut it in half diagonally (from the top left corner to the bottom right corner). Voila! You have two fun card bases!
The Double-Triangle Card is simple to create and makes a perfect Father's Day Card with lots of wow-factor.
