It's always fun when the new annual catalogue comes along and brings with it five fresh, on-trend colours to add to the Stampin' Up! palette. One of the five new colours from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue is... CINNAMON CIDER - an earthy brown with a touch of deep orange that adds warmth, like milky cocoa!

Inspired by the gift box on page 26 of the new annual catalogue, I paired Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso to create this cute suitcase using the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper and the new Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes...

I googled "old brown suitcase" and used the image results as design inspirations for this project.  I began by covering the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box with the Cinnamon Cider patterned designer paper.  I then die-cut stitched circles from Early Espresso cardstock, sponged them with Early Espresso ink, and then fashioned them into "leather" corner protectors.  The Early Espresso 1/4" Faux Suede Trim with the antiqued slides make fabulous straps for my suitcase.  I finished this cute project off with some custom luggage patches using the Beautiful World stamp set, World Map Dies, Brass Foil Sheets, and Cinnamon Cider ink.

I love the old world style that the Cinnamon Cider designer paper gives to this cute suitcase gift box.
