Alongside the release of the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue are five fresh, on-trend colours to add to the Stampin' Up! palette.  Here is one of those five... MISTY MOONLIGHT - a dusky, grey pigeon-blue that that is deep and moody.  Take a look at how this new hue compares to our familiar core colours...

I have gone with a neutral palette for the greeting card below, pairing Misty Moonlight with Smoky Slate and textures from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, which has pages of photographic images of wood, tile, stone, textiles, and other elements - so fabulous!

For the right side of this card, I used the blue-black woven-look pattern.  This is a beautifully detailed and heavy design, so I chose a softer stone-like designer paper to compliment it.

The In Good Taste Designer Series Paper is part of the In Good Taste Suite, along with the fabulous Tasteful Touches stamp set.  I enhanced the texture of the stone by stamping the designer paper with the intricate brocade image in Smoky Slate ink and embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  The Tasteful Touches stamp set has some lovely words in elegant fonts that are easily die-cut with the coordinating Tasteful Labels Dies.

I finished this card with a swirl of Misty Moonlight/Silver Baker's Twine and the beautiful feathers, which were stamped in Misty Moonlight (one in full-strength ink and one stamped off) and then cut out.
