The release of the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue marks the introduction of five fresh, on-trend colours to add to the Stampin' Up! palette. These are called the In Colors and they stay with us for two years. I want to introduce you to one of the new 2020-2022 In Colors: BUMBLEBEE - a brilliant yellow with a touch of mustard that adds softness. Take a look at how this new hue compares to our familiar core colours...
Bumblebee is a golden yellow that works well for many floral images. I have paired it with Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Granny Apple Green, and Early Espresso to create this Corner-Fold card using the Jar of Flowers stamp set and coordinating Jar Punch...

Flowers for Every Season 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (152486) - $24.25
48 sheets: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs
I used the Bumblebee floral paper from the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper to set the tone for the whole project. All the outline stamping is in Early Espresso ink and the bouquet is coloured with pretty, bright colours using Stampin' Blends. I finished the floral arrangement with a Bumblebee 1/4" Gingham Ribbon bow - too cute!
These look like wildflowers, so to this Thank You Card, I added "wildly grateful" from the Lovely You stamp set and punch the ends with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.
The shorter card front at the top-right means that you see some of the inside. For added contrast, I used Early Espresso cardstock as a border, and embossed it with Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. It really does look like scrunched paper!
Bumblebee is such a lovely, versatile colour that I didn't know I needed! I have found that I love adding this intense yellow to many projects to make them pop.
