UPDATED WEDNESDAY, 1 APRIL: On Tuesday morning, 31 March, I made the difficult decision that while we are Alert Level 4, I will not be placing any orders for Stampin' Up! product or couriering any items, in response to the New Zealand Government announcement that couriers should only be used for essential products. On Wednesday, 1 April, Stampin' Up! decided to hold all Stampin' Up! shipments into New Zealand during our Alert Level 4. That means that you can still place orders, which will be prepared for shipment and stored in the distribution centre until shipping into New Zealand resumes.
I believe that creative activities are important for mental health and wellbeing during this stressful time, so I have petitioned the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) to consider broadening their definition of essential items to include providing services to aid the general mental wellbeing of our citizens during this lockdown, which could be extended beyond the initial four weeks.
In the meantime, I will still continue to post inspirational ideas and find ways that we can interact with and support each other.
