Welcome to Your Creative Connection; a bi-monthly creative showcase which comes to you on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday/Thursday of each month.  Your Creative Connection came together from a group of eight global friends wanting to give you a worldwide connection to creativity.  We hope to inspire you to connect with us as we share papercraft ideas using Stampin’ Up! products.  Each showcase will have a theme, and we will ‘travel’ around the world to connect with our creative friends.

This week's Your Creative Connection theme is HOW SUITE IT IS.  Lately, I have been creating a lot with the Parisian Blossoms Suite, so it was a no-brainer to use this WHOLE suite on one project to share for this theme.  I am a card maker first-and-foremost, but I do delve into the occasional memory keeping too.  Well, the beautiful, iconic Parisian imagery in the Parisian Blossoms Suite was calling me to create this double spread of one day during our amazing time in Paris...

If you are counting the products in the Parisian Blossoms Suite on my layouts and checking that I used the whole suite, you will notice that there is one absent, the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder.  But all others are represented here.  But where is the Petal Pink Metallic-Edge Ribbon, you say!  Well, you will find that on the first layout...

The swirl of champagne, metallic thread behind the cherry blossoms is actually from the Petal Pink Metallic-Edge Ribbon.  I cut down the selvage of the ribbon and carefully pulled the metallic threads for this page, so it coordinated with the champagne foil in the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Champagne Rhinestone Jewels.

While putting this second layout together, I re-lived this day and remembered how amazing it was to be up the iconic Eiffel Tower, taking in the stunning views of Paris.  It really was a magnificent adventure!
