On Sunday we held the Hamilton Extravaganza, which focussed on a selection of the gorgeous products from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration. Despite the heat, the whole day had a lovely, relaxing atmosphere and everyone enjoyed the creative inspiration.
There were eight local Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who collaborated for the Hamilton Extravaganza, we invited guests to attend and gave each of our guests a small handmade gift. I decorated the gorgeous Silver Mini Gable Boxes with products from the Sweet Soirée Suite and the amazing Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper, and filled them with Ready Shreddie and Easter Eggs. Here they are all boxed up and ready to go!

At the Hamilton Extravaganza, we had five teams of teachers who rotated around the room, teaching their projects, so all guests went home with five completed projects plus new techniques, tips and ideas. So what did we create on Sunday?
In this first project, Bev and Ruth showed everyone how to create a fun-opening card with lots of surprises! This card would be perfect for a special birthday or anniversary. It was finished with the Cake Soirée stamp set, Sweet Cake Framelits Dies, and Sweet Soirée Specialty Designer Series Paper...
Another card with a fabulous opening surprise is this one, taught by Rayleen and Irene. It features the awesome Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating Petals & More Thinlits Dies, plus the gorgeous Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders...
Check out this fabulous, quick application of colour on these flowers... applied using sponge daubers!
And here's how it opens...
Kay and Andrea used the very popular True Gentleman Suite to create this masculine suitcase gift box (inspired by UK Stampin' Up Demonstrator Linda Parker)...
Jacque brought the soft, watercolour, hand painted-look to our event with this beautiful friendship card using the Waterfront stamp set, Gold Glitter Flakes and the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder...
I love the way that this card opens - so sweet!
And lastly, I showed everyone two fabulous techniques using Brusho Crystal Colour and the Epic Celebrations stamp set to create this gender-neutral teenage birthday card...
And what do teenagers want for their birthday? Money! This card has an inside pocket with a surprise popup-out voucher...
Everyone had a wonderful day at the Hamilton Extravaganza, the projects we taught were a hit and the teachers enjoyed sharing and inspiring.
