The feminine touches I added were the potted flowers by the welcome mat and a spring-time wreath on the front door, both brightly coloured using the Watercolor Pencils. I love how the die for the wreath cuts both the floral and Christmas holly wreaths in the stamp set - very clever! To lighten the card and make it softer, I also used a white-wash wood texture for the door...

On the front of the door, there's a sign that reads, "GRATEFUL", and inside it says, "FOR YOU". Awww, so sweet!

Here's a close-up of that gorgeous brick texture on the centre-step card. To get this effect, I coloured the white Embossing Paste using Sahara Sand ink and applied it to Shimmery White card stock through a brick mask. Once the Embossing Paste was dry, I sponged Sahara Sand ink over the top.

I also created a coordinating gusseted gift bag for this card by altering a Striped Treat Bag to give it a flat base...

The tag on the front of the gift bag also has some texture. This time I used the Embossing Paste straight from the container (white and uncoloured) and applied it directly onto the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper using a mosaic-diamond mask.

I love using the Embossing Paste - it's so easy and a lot of fun!
