HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Wishing all mothers and women who are positive role models for our next generation, an enjoyable day today.

For my Mum, I created this Mother's Day card using the Eastern Palace Suite in Crumb Cake, Whisper White and gold (diverging from the rich and regal colours in the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Paper)...

The design of this card is inspired by Sylwia Schreck's Hallo Card.

For the front, I die-cut a circle out of the Whisper White Thick card base and a matching one out of the Crumb Cake card front. In between I added a Window Sheet to create a see-through opening on the card. I then used a combination of Eastern Medallion Thinlits, Layering Circles Framelits and gold embossing to create a pretty doily out of Whisper White card stock to adhere over the window.

For something a little different, I choose one of the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers and adhered it to a Window Sheet and then trimmed around it. The front of the card was finished with this sticker embellishment and a gold Mini Tassel (the adhesive tactfully hidden behind the "Happy Mother's Day").
