Inspired by the photographed project on page 9 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure, I used the Delicate Details stamp set and an easy watercolour wash technique to create a subtle and textural background for this pretty thank you card...

For the background of this card I repeatedly stamped all the lace images from the Delicate Details stamp set down a piece of Watercolor Paper with Whisper White Craft ink, sprinkled over white embossing powder and then heat set. I then combined an emboss-resist technique with this easy water colouring technique to add that gorgeous wash of colour:

1. Apply ink to a large acrylic block using Stampin' Write Markers (Clear Block F is ideal for this technique).
2. Spritz Watercolor Paper with water or liberally apply water with an Aqua Painter, shake off any drips and then press wet card onto the inked block.
3. Set ink quickly with the Heat Tool (to capture all those gorgeous drips) or put aside to dry.

For my card, I used Crushed Curry, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Write Markers...
