Happy New Year! Wishing you and your family safe travels and I hope you are enjoying some relaxing time at your favourite holiday spot.
The celebrations started early for us as yesterday was my Nana's birthday and I cherish everyone one she celebrates. This year I used the fabulous Carousel Birthday stamp set to create a fun birthday card that has a stamped Ferris Wheel on the front. But this is no ordinary Ferris Wheel, instead of passenger cars, it has cute cupcakes. So, to accentuate this wonderful oddity, I stamped the wheel in a neutral colour and spotlighted one of the cupcakes...

I have already shared that the Carousel Birthday stamp set is one of my favourites from the new Occasions Catalogue. However, there are three other new products I want to share with you that I love using... the first is the Up & Away Thinlits Dies. This die set comes in a bundle with the Lift Me Up stamp set, which is a lovely set that is all about hot air balloons. But, the Up & Away Thinlits Dies also coordinate with the Carousel Birthday stamp set too! The die for the balloon basket also die-cuts the cupcake case, plus the die for the cloud also matches the cupcake frosting. Awesome coordination!
The second product I wanted to highlight to you is another set of dies. The Window Box Thinlits Dies includes a really funky piece that die-cuts the ends of the banner on the front of my card. It even scores the lines to make it pop off the page!
And lastly, I wanted to point out the tiny Peekaboo Peach sequins on the cupcake frosting. These come in the new Sprinkles Embellishments pack that includes so many different sequins and spheres in a variety of sizes and a rainbow of colours. I can't wait for you to see these, which you can when you get your copy of the new Occasions Catalogue from me.
