This is an easel card, so the square front sits up on a gorgeous gold dome to display the card front...

How did I create this dome?

It's actually a Metal Rimmed Pearl that I have smooshed into VersaMark, covered in gold embossing powder and then heat set. This is a great technique for adding a touch of glam and re-colouring embellishments. What about embossing buttons or metal embellishments like the Christmas Trinkets?
