Today our nation pauses for ANZAC Day to commemorate our brave soldiers killed in war and to honour our returned servicemen and women.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

For the Fallen/Ode of Remembrance (Laurence Binyon)

Ake ake kia kaha e!
Forever be strong!

Marching song of the New Zealand Army's 28th (Māori) Battalion (1939-1945)

I love this tranquil scene... it was created using the On the Horizon Bundle, Blending Brushes, and coordinating inks.

When we get back to traveling again, one of the places that I would dearly love to see is the Netherlands in springtime.  In the meantime, I can indulge my fantasies by creating an iconic dutch scene with the beautiful Tulip Fields stamp set and coordinating Windmill Fields Dies from the Flowering Fields Suite.

Once an instrument of torture, the cross is now a symbol of hope, love, and salvation.  May the miracle of Easter bring you and your family joy and happiness.

HAPPY EASTER!

This fun gift box is so quick and easy.  It is a no-adhesive, no-cutting Easter Box!  And it is sized to fit four cute, bite-sized Easter Eggs...

I can't believe she's 21!  Yes, my eldest turned 21 last month, and it is a milestone birthday in New Zealand, which we celebrate in a big way.  This special celebration harks back to when 21 was the legal age of becoming an adult.  So, for her birthday, I created a special birthday card with a beautiful pacific feel using the fabulous Waves of the Ocean Collection.

As promised, here are the fabulous projects that were taught at the Hamilton Extravaganza last Sunday...

We held the Hamilton Extravaganza on Sunday and for this fun event, I created gifts for my guests using the fabulous Waves of the Ocean Collection.  I filled Kraft Gift Boxes with yummy treats and wrapped the beautiful Waves of the Ocean 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper around to secure them closed.
