Mother's Day is just around the corner! Here in New Zealand we celebrate it on the second Sunday of May, which this year is 14 May. I created this delicate Mother's Day card for my mum using the Dainty Delight stamp set and coordinating Dainty Delight Dies.
Today our nation pauses for ANZAC Day. The poppy is a symbol that is associated with this day and it reminds us of those servicemen and women who lost their lives or have suffered in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. We will remember them.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

We recently held the first of three Hamilton Extravaganzas for this year, which featured some of the fun products from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalogue. For the project that Fiona and I taught, we used the graceful Sea Turtle stamp set and a lovely colour palette of Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, and Petal Pink.
