I didn't get around to showing these cards here last month. These are the thank you cards that I sent out to everyone who placed an order during April. It uses the crayon resist technique with colours to match the Tea Party DSP (Pretty In Pink, So Saffron, Certainly Celery and Almost Amethyst).

Yesterday was my niece's 9th birthday. My daughter, who is only five weeks older than her cousin, made a butterfly spiral popup card for her birthday during the school holidays. I created this card to give to my niece from the rest of the family...

I needed to make a 60th wedding anniversary card for my grandparents last weekend and had a card in mind. However, recently I was challenged to play with pop-up cards and have been poking around the internet to get inspired. I started to make the anniversary card I had planned in my head (which wasn't a pop-up card), but as it progressed the ideas I saw on the web crept in. It ended up nothing like I had planned, but I love it.

School holidays are over and the kids are back to school and kindy. Over the holidays it has become a tradition for me to run a "card class" for my kids (master-four, miss-six and miss-nine) - a sort of mum-and-me event! Anyhow, at our "class" these holidays we made a butterfly spiral pop-up card. They loved it! I had to make sure the card wasn't too complicated (for master-four), but had some interesting parts (for miss-nine). I was really impressed on how they all did. Here is my card...

On Sunday was my son's fourth birthday. He is chocolate mad so I made him this birthday card and fill the Sweet Treat Cup with M&Ms. I am glad I took a photo of the card before giving it to him as it is empty now and has many little chocolate fingerprints on it!

Last week was very busy. Not only was I preparing for the April workshops, but on Saturday there was a demonstrator swap. The theme for this swap was the Autumn-Winter Mini. So I used the Big Shot for embossing and Vintage Vogue for stamping. Here are my 30 swaps...

To celebrate the launch of the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue I had cake and coffee at my house on 1 April. Yes I know there were a number who couldn't come because of Easter, but because of the school holidays and the April workshops it was that date or nothing! However, the few that came had a play with the new products and shared ideas over cake and coffee. It was a fun night.
