On Sunday we held the Hamilton Christmas Extravaganza. At an Extravaganza, five pairs of demonstrators prepare and teach a project, moving from table to table so at the end of the day everyone of the 90ish stampers who attended took home five lovely creations using a variety of techniques.

Everyone who attended recieved a bag of goodies from their demonstrator. Here are the name tags that I put on my bags, which were inspired by the 3-D ornament Christmas cards we will be making in the November Workshops...

Extravaganza Projects

Clock-wise from the top left:

  • Embossed Christmas Cracker using Shimmery White card stock, Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz and Marina Mist.
  • Snowkid Tent Card - a great fancy-fold technique with cute punch art.
  • Delightful Decorations Gift Bag in Pear Pizzazz and Cherry Cobbler. And they also stamped the tissue paper insert!
  • Artistic Etchings Waterfall Album - a neat gift idea in Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Elegant Eggplant.
  • Snowman Christmas Card that used a variety of great Shimmer Paint techniques.

It was a fantastic day and we have had some really lovely feedback. Everyone I spoke to had a great time and there are those who are already planning on coming to the next one early next year.
