It was my eldest daughter's 13th birthday over the weekend and I wanted to create a very special card for her. It needed to be girly and pretty so I used flowers, lace, doilies and the sweet colour combination from the new challenge on the Around the World Stampin' Up! Challenges site.

On Sunday we had our first Hamilton Extravaganza for this year. We celebrated the Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration by creating five gorgeous projects using fun, new products and techniques. We had a fun, creative challenge at the demonstrator Stamp Camp, where we were each given a note card and envelope, some Whisper White card stock, a piece of Quatrefancy Specialty DSP and were expected to create something... anything! We were allowed to use items we bought with us to camp, so I used the Spiral Flower Originals Die and made a card with a gorgeous two-toned flower for the front. To create the flower, I die-cut two spiral flowers, one in Whisper White and one in Strawberry Slush, then rolled them up together.
