You may have seen on the Creative Stamping Facebook Page at the start of this month that I attended an awesome training day in Auckland. This is one of the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator; with the fantastic perks being... gathering with like minded people, learning new approaches to crafting and running a small business, sharing creative ideas and (of course) stamping and creating!
Welcome to the Around the World Stampin' Up! Blog Hop, featuring trees and flowers, in honour of this month's limited-time Thoughtful Branches Bundle.
This month, Stampin' Up! have released a limited-time stamp set and dies - it's the Thoughtful Branches Bundle. At first glance, this gorgeous stamp set and dies are a lovely way to add beautiful trees to your paper craft creations. But they are so much more! My favourite is using the tree leaves and coordinating dies to create hydrangeas. Here's a thank you card I created with this in mind and inspiration from Allison Okamitsu's gift tag...
If you have the Love & Affection stamp set from the Affectionately Yours Product Suite, then you also need the Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. These two products were made for each other...
Aged, faded metal finishes have seen a revival, especially old gold, antique silver, brass and copper - there is something special about these rich, warm-hued metals. Also trending are bright florals. These are the inspiration for the Affectionately Yours Suite on page 44 of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. Bright, whimsical floral designs combined with gorgeous shiny copper make this suite a must on your crafting shelves.
The Hamilton Extravaganza was held on Sunday in Gordonton. It was a fabulous day of crafting, sharing, and being inspired by the new products in the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. Here's the hall all set up and our first guests arriving. Check out the Creative Stamping Facebook Page to see more photos from the day.
