At our workshops in the past week, I have given everyone an opportunity to play with the new Butterfly Prints stamp set and the co-ordinating Butterfly punch. This is the little make-and-take that anyone who attended my workshops got to make:

I have been playing with the new buttons and grommets from the Summer Mini. I made a Christmas easel card with both of these (keep an eye out for easel cards in the January workshops).

Oooh, I just love the new Butterfly Prints stamp set in the Summer Mini and the co-ordinating punch. I think the stamped butterflies are lovely designs and I also like the way that it has the butterfly body as a 2-step stamping process. And the punch fits perfectly.

Yesterday was our Christmas break up for MOPS (Mother's of Pre-schoolers). MOPS is a fantastic idea, which started in America, and has had groups in New Zealand for more than ten years. Basically it is a place where mothers of pre-schoolers can have their children looked after for a morning while mums have some timeout to catch up with others, do some craft, and have discussions about life, family and kids. If you want to know more about MOPS, click HERE to check out the New Zealand MOPS website, or HERE to check out the MOPS International website.

The Summer Mini Catalogue is here! Here is one of the products found in the Summer Mini - Sweet Treat Cups. Used in conjunction with the new 1-3/4" Circle Punch, they can add dimension and small gifts to your cards. Also in the Summer Mini are padded envelopes specially designed for cards using the Sweet Treat Cups.

I have finally gotten around to posting these lovely stamped candles made by the ladies that came to the November workshop on the Wednesday night.

I made this never-ending card for my Father-in-law's birthday, which we celebrated last night. He is a hands-on-fix-it-type person so appreciated the mechanics of the card. I adapted the instructions found on Dawn's website to create this card.

This card I totally copied from the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine (vol 14, no 12). I had just got the Baroque Motifs stamp set and wanted to test-drive it!
