Colour is all around us and, whether we realise it or not, it evokes our emotions and plays a big role in our everyday lives. For example orange communicates warmth, cheerfulness and optimism. Whereas pastels are delicate colours that are considered to be calm and soothing. So I wonder what emotion the new pastel-orange Peekaboo Peach conveys to you? Did you know that a Flamingo's feathers are actually light grey when they hatch? Flamingos obtain their wonderful rosy pink colour from carotenoid pigments, found the aquatic organisms they eat. I love colour and I want to share with you my thoughts on the five new 2016-2018 In Colors. The first one we will explore will be Sweet Sugarplum.

Last Friday I held an Annual Catalogue Launch Party where we had hands-on exploration of new 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue products, make-and-takes, games, spot prizes, prize draws and more. I certainly had a lot of fun!
