This month we made aceate cards at the Creative Stamping workshops using the gorgeous Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set...
So, to compliment the cards made, I created cute gift boxes for my lovely Cambridge and Te Awamutu hostesses using aceate and the Candy Wrapper die...

Share some love with someone today! HAPPY VALENTINES DAYI made this Valentines Day card at a recent Crafters Anonymous online class to share some love...

Tools: Big Shot (113439), Pinwheel Sizzlit S Die (129411), Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (129378), Fashionable Hearts Embosslits (125596), SAB Petite Curly Label Punch (129405), Stampin' Sanding System (129367), Glue Dots (103683), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).This card features some of the fun, new products from the Seasonal Catalogue - Primrose Petals Co'ordinations card stock (page 12) embossed with the Honeycomb embossing folder (page 6), pretty patterned paper from the Print Poetry DSP Stack (page 16), Pinwheel Sizzlit die (page 33) and the "love" stamp from the Ciao, Baby! stamp set (page 16).
The Primrose Petals Co'ordinations card stock was sanded after I embossed it, revealing the lighter core and make the embossing stand out. I then added hexagons to some of the spaces, which are really easy to hand cut once you emboss the paper; you just follow the lines, six straight cuts and you're done! Then the surprise of this card comes when you open it...
Inside there's space to add three tealight candles for that romantic dinner, or a place to add chocolates! Love what you see?

With Valentines Day just around the corner, a lot of the cards I have created lately feature hearts! Which is not all to surprising. But it sure came in handy when we celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary last week. Here's the card I make for my hubby...
Stamps: Itty Bitty Banners (wood: 126255, clear: 126257). Card/Paper: Naturals White (129588), Cherry Cobbler (121681). Ink: Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Classic Stampin' Pad (126966). Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246), Early Espresso Baker's Twine (123124). Tools: Big Shot (113439), Fashionable Hearts Embosslits (125596), Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334), Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate (126192), 3/16" Corner Punch (119871), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).I used the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit to die-cut hearts out of Naturals White, a lovely flecked card stock. I then adhered the hearts onto Naturals card stock, creating a tone-on-tone look. Then to "hold the hearts together" I scored a border above and below using the new Borders Scoring Plate accessory for the Simply Scored. This close-up shows the textures really well and the scored zig-zag lines below the hearts...
