Even though we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in New Zealand, the I'm Thankful For single stamp in the Holiday Catalogue is a great one to have on your crafting shelf.
I'm Thankful For wood-mount (135170) - $26.95
My first thought was to stamp this on placemats at Christmas or New Year's and giving time for people to reflect on their year and share with everyone over food. However, when I was planning my project for the new colour challenge on Around The World Stampin' Up!, I thought to use portions of the stamp to create a Curvy Keepsake Box with a thank you tag. Here's my Real Red, Hello Honey and Crumb Cake creation...
Stamps: I'm Thankful For (wood: 135170). Ink: Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker (100082), VersaMark (102283). Card/Paper: Crumb Cake (121685), Real Red (106578), Hello Honey (133685), Gold Foil Sheets (132622). Accessories: Venetian Crochet Trim (134581), Gold 1/8" Ribbon (134583), Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (109129). Tools: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113439), Magnetic Platform (130658), Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies (135853), Chalk Talk Framelits (129983), Filigree Frame Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (135818), 3/4" Circle Punch (119873), Heat Tool (129056), Embossing Buddy (103083), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430).
For my tag I used the largest die-cut from the Chalk Talk Framelits. To get the individual words/letters, I inked the "thank" and "u" with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and stamped on Crumb Cake and Hello Honey, respectively...
After creating the tag, I carefully inked the lines on the stamp with VersaMark, stamped them around the sides of the Curvy Keepsake Box and then heat set gold embossing powder.
