Oooh, I just love the new Butterfly Prints stamp set in the Summer Mini and the co-ordinating punch. I think the stamped butterflies are lovely designs and I also like the way that it has the butterfly body as a 2-step stamping process. And the punch fits perfectly.

But did you know that this butterfly punch also co-ordinates with a stamp set that we already have? The four large butterflies from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set in our current Idea Book & Catalogue (page 82) can be easily punched out with the Butterfly punch.

Tomorrow there is a demonstrator gathering and, as you know, when we get together we like to do swaps, where we make a large number of one card or project and swap them for one of someone elses. For my swap I used the Butterfly Prints stamp set and mixed it up with the Upsy Daisy stamp set. I also used Baja Breeze, a colour that I haven't used much of and am very taken with now.

The layout for this butterfly card was inspired by a card that I made about a month ago. This Upsy Daisy card design comes from the Australian Stamping, Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine (Vol 15 No 4), but I changed up the DSP and colours.
