A while ago I created a bouquet of roses using the Spiral Flower die, to decorate the top of a Tag A Bag Gift Box...
Card/Paper: Crumb Cake (121685), Very Vanilla (106550), Whisper White (106549). Accessories: Tag A Bag Gift Boxes (130927), Tea Lace Paper Doilies (129399), 5/8" Chevron Ribbon (132982). Tools: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113439), Spiral Flower Originals Die (129379), Stampin' Spritzer (126185), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755) Glue Dots (103683).
I can't lay claim to the fabulous combination of Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Whisper White, that credit goes to Nadine Weiner. I loved her box and had to re-create it.
Today there is a new challenge on the Around the World Stampin' Up! Challenges site, with a festive colour combination of Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Gumball Green. These colours are perfect for matching the bright, foil-covered Easter Eggs that are in all the shops. So I created a second gift box, decorated with bright-coloured flowers with matching the Easter Eggs inside...
Card/Paper: Bermuda Bay (131286), Melon Mambo (119980), Crushed Curry (131288), Gumball Green (127543). Accessories: Tag A Bag Gift Boxes (130927), Tea Lace Paper Doilies (129399), Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon (126848). Tools: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113439), Spiral Flower Originals Die (129379), Fringe Scissors (133325), Stampin' Spritzer (126185), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755) Glue Dots (103683). Other: Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry Foil-Covered Easter Eggs!
The "packing" inside the box, around the Easter Eggs, was made using Bermuda Bay card stock and my Fringe Scissors; a quick scrunch and into the box!
What will you create with these colours?
Add a photo of your creation to the bottom of the challenge post (where it says "It's your turn!") on the Around The World Stampin' Up! Challenge website.
