Here are my final two Valentines cards, and submissions for the "Just Add Love" challenge at Just Add Ink.

The first is a bright and pretty Daffodil Delight and Cherry Cobbler card...

Other elements include a hand-made flower (using the Boho Blossoms punch), Presto Patterns DSP brayered in Cherry Cobbler (see page 10 of the Summer Mini), and Early Espresso Satin ribbon overlaid with Chantilly Crochet Trim (see page 8 of the Summer Mini).

The second (and last) card finished in time for Valentines day uses two In Colors (Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait) and the Bliss stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalogue...

This is a card that I would love to get for Valentines Day, and my hubby quite liked it too! I like that it is non-traditional - no red, pink or hearts! Oops, I tell a lie, there is one heart if you look closely...

Valentines Day Card

Instead of adding ribbon, I paper-pierced in curves across the centre of the card and used white embroidery cotton to stitch it. It takes a bit longer than using a sewing machine, but I have more control (as I can't sew straight!).

Roll on Valentines Day!
